When the Georgia Bulldogs travel the 90 minutes to Bobby Dodd stadium this year to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, there’s likely to be a much different feel to the game than there has been in recent years. This Georgia Tech team believes they truly match up and can trade blows with the Bulldogs, and they could be absolutely right.

UGA   GT
W-L 7-4   7-4
Avg Points 37.9   36.8
Avg Points Allowed 29.0   21.0
Home Record 5-1  5-1
Road Record 2-3  2-3
Division Record 4-2  4-2
Conference Record 5-3  5-3

There are always keys to a game to insure a victory, but those keys are always going to be dependent on the match-ups within the game, both on a squad level and individuals. Both of these teams have their strengths and weaknesses, and some of them may offset each other.

Here’s the tale of the tape for 2013′s “Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate”
