Georgia Tech Part of 3-0 Conference Start in B1G/ACC Challenge

The ACC is off to a great start in the annual college basketball Big Ten/ACC Challenge, with the conference taking the first three games in the event.

Georgia Tech took care of Illinois in their game 67-64, Pittsburgh downed Penn State 78-69, and Syracuse made easy work of Indiana 69-52 to put the ACC out to a commanding 3-0 lead in the challenge.

The other games to be played in the challenge tonight include Notre Dame vs. No.23 Iowa, Florida State vs. Minnesota, and No.10 Duke vs. No.22 Michigan.

Wednesdays games will include Maryland vs. No.5 Ohio State, Virginia vs. No.8 Wisconsin, N.C. State vs. Northwestern, Boston College vs. Purdue, Miami (Fl) vs. Nebraska and the big game on the slate, North Carolina vs. No.1 Michigan State

The bragging rights from this annual event resonate all the way into conference play in January, and can eventually have a big impact on selection and seeding in the NCAA tournament.
