It hadn’t been the greatest of Super Bowls for the Denver Broncos, or for former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets wide receiver, Demaryius Thomas. But at least there is one highlight to smile at.
Thomas had already fumbled the ball earlier in the game after a nice catch, but came back as the 3rd quarter was ending and made a great touchdown grab, even as he was being tackled before the catch was made.
With this catch, and the ensuing 2-point conversion that followed, the score became 36-8 in favor of the Seattle Seahawks, who have been dominating the game.
Through three quarters, Thomas leads all receivers in the game with 12 receptions for 101 yards, a touchdown and a fumble.
