If you’ve been chomping at the bit to get a look at some of the 2014 Georgia Tech football team, you have an chance on Saturday, April 12 to watch a live scrimmage.
The Saturday practice is open to the public and free of charge. If you’ve never had the opportunity to watch one of these scrimmages, you’ll want to take advantage, as they are eye-opening as to what these young men do in practice sessions.
Here are details per a release from the Georgia Tech athletic department:
Georgia Tech’s practice Saturday morning in Bobby Dodd Stadium will be open to the public. The scrimmage begins at 9:15 a.m.
Fans can enter the stadium through Gates 4 or 7. Please do not enter via the stadium tunnel. There is no charge for admission, and Peter’s will be available for parking.
Fans should keep in mind that there are other activities on campus Saturday that will impact traffic and parking. The 42nd Annual Pi Mile Road Race begins at 8 a.m. and finishers will make their way through the west stands concourse.
Tech’s softball team hosts North Carolina at 1 p.m. and the Yellow Jacket baseball squad entertains Florida State at 2 p.m.
With what promises to be a beautiful spring day, come on out and catch your Jackets and watch some of the leaders and stars of 2014 begin to emerge.
