One of the most important recruiting days for any college football program is their spring game, for Georgia Tech it’s no different, so who will be visiting the Flats on Friday night?

Still without a commitment in the 2018 recruiting class, Friday night’s spring game could be a big night for the Yellow Jackets. With that being said, it’s time to take a look at who will be visiting the Flats on Friday night for the annual spring game.

The following list of players are players that are either rumored to be attending or have confirmed they are attending, any player that has confirmed has their tweet linked.

2017:

Technically the 2017 class is no longer recruits seeing that they have already signed their letter of intent to play at Georgia Tech. However, it will also be their last major chance to visit the campus before enrolling.

2018:

The most important group of recruits on Friday night will be the 2018 recruiting class. Right now, there are 15 players that are reportedly  will be attending, 13 of those are confirmed. While no huge names are on the list in terms of star rating or overall ranking, the group of recruits is still pretty strong overall.

Offense:

  • OL Austin BlakeTweet

Blake visited Florida State back in Febuary and currently holds one offer from Howard University. Right now, it appears as Blake could be a recruit that gets offers from Division One schools late in the cycle if not ending up a preferred walk-on.

  • OL Dillon BraunsteinTweet

Not much known about the Warner Robins offensive lineman except he was a of the All-Region second-team this past season.

  • OL Tyler Paul FalveyTweet

Currently holds offers from Stetson University and Central Arkansas but is being recruited by several Division One programs including N.C State, Kent State, Navy, Florida Atlantic. Already visited Georgia Tech once back in February.

  • ATH Craig Johnson IITweet

Not much on Johnson’s recruitment but he did recently visit Georgia Tech this month and called it “the best visit”.

  • OL Logan KeslerTweet

While Kesler hasn’t received any scholarship offers yet, the Buford native has received several camp offers from various programs including Air Force.

Currently, holds an offer from Arkansas State but seems as though Georgia Tech does have a good amount interest in the football and track star for Parkview High School.

  • OL Malcolm MercerTweet

Not much recruiting information out there on the Americus-Sumter lineman but he has received some interest from Penn as well as Georgia Tech. Worth noting that Mercer can also play defensive line.

A teammate of Mercer’s at America-Sumter, Payne currently holds one offer from Army but does have mutual interest with Georgia Tech and Tulane among other programs. He recently visited Georgia Tech on April 1st.

  • ATH Zamari WaltonTweet

Walton holds six scholarship offers including one from Georgia Tech. Getting Walton on campus this weekend could be big for the Yellow Jackets.

Doesn’t currently hold any offers but is being recruited by several Division One programs. Recently visited Georgia Tech on April 12th.

  • OLB JaQuez JacksonTweet

Holds six scholarship offers, mostly from G5 programs. Was an All-State selection for Peach County High School. Receiving a scholarship offer from the Jackets this weekend or in the near future wouldn’t be shocking.

  • OLB Justin ScolaTweet

The Brockwood High School linebacker hasn’t received any offers as of yet but visited several schools including Auburn, Clemson, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina during his time at Grayson High School.

Unconfirmed:

  • LB Braxton Golden

No information available on Golden’s recruitment at this time.

  • DB Marcelle Griffin

No information available on Griffin’s recruitment at this time.

2022:

  • WR Andre StewartTweet

It’s pretty amazing that recruits in the 2022 class are already being discussed but that’s just the way recruiting is these days. With that being said, Georgia Tech will have 2022 cornerback and wide receiver Andre Stewart on campus this weekend.

This list will be updated as more information comes in on which recruits will be attending Friday night’s spring game.
