The Georgia Tech football program on Thursday landed their 10th commitment of the 2020 recruiting class in three-star DE JaQuari Wiggles.

On Monday, Georgia Tech landed a commitment from three-star linebacker Tyson Meiguez.

At the end of Meiguez’s commitment video, he teased the Tech faithful of more commitments to come. It appears that one of those shoes has fallen, this time the form of three-star defensive end JaQuari Wiggles. The Mays HS product ended his recruitment on Thursday with a  video posted on his Twitter account.

Wiggles, a 6-foot-2, 263-pound defensive end is ranked as a top-700 player nationally, a top-40 strongside defensive end, and a top-70 player in the state of Georgia. He’s also the Jackets sixth commitment from the Peach State.

For the Jackets, Wiggles is their 10th overall commitment in the 2020 recruiting class and the 10th since the beginning of March. He also marks their fourth commitment in the last week. The Jackets may not be done either with their spring game scheduled for Friday night.

Wiggles has a quality offer list before his commitment, gathering offers from Boston College, Colorado State, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt too just name a few programs. Tennessse appeared to be the Jackets biggest challenger in landing Wiggles.

The commitment also keeps the Jackets goal of keeping 404 talent in the 404. Wiggles one of the premier recruits in the 404, will now be playing his college football just 25 minutes away from his high school.

Overall, Wiggles isn’t a great athletic player but has a nice skillet to work with going forward. At 6-foot-2, he’ll probably need to stop some weight if he hopes to remain at  defensively. It will also allow him to gain some speed on a forty-yard dash that was lost clocked at 5.18 seconds. We project Wiggles to remain at defensive end at the next level.
