A few Georgia Tech football players have found potential homes in the NFL after going undrafted in this year’s NFL Draft.

Georgia Tech defensive end Anree Saint-Amour, defensive tackle Desmond Branch, and quarterback TaQuon Marshall went undrafted in this year’s NFL Draft but they were still able to find home following Saturday’s conclusion of the annual festivities.

Saint-Amour, a late-riser in this draft season, was thought to potentially be able to sneak into the back end of the draft but ultimately did not. However, on Saturday night, he was one of the first players signed as undrafted free agents, signing a deal with the Minnesota Vikings.

Over his four years on the defensive line, Saint-Amour totaled 103-tackles, 23.5 tackles for a loss, and 11.5 sacks. He had a career year this past season as a senior with 47 tackles, 12.0 tackles for a loss, and 4.0 sacks. He also brought in two interceptions throughout the season while forcing three fumbles. All and all it was a great senior season for the Suwanee, Georgia native.

Defensive tackle Desmond Branch won’t have to go far for his new home, receiving a training-camp invite from the Atlanta Falcons. Branch like Saint-Amour is coming off a great senior season and a good deal of productivity. He had 37 tackles and 5 tackles for a loss, he also recorded one interception for the season.

Former Tech quarterback TaQuon Marshall doesn’t have a future in the NFL as a quarterback but he did find himself receiving a mini-camp invite from the Baltimore Ravens. A position change will be in the cards for Marshall so it will be interesting to see where the Ravens place Marshall in their minicamp. Marshall provides an intriguing speed option for the Ravens who with Lamar Jackson have a whole new look offense and one that Marshall could most definitely contribute in.

More camp invites or undrafted free agent deals could come in the days coming for Georgia Tech but for now these three Yellow Jackets will be the ones who will look to prove their worth at the next level. Yellow Jacked Up wishes Anree, Desmond, and TaQuon the best of luck in their endeavors!
