Georgia Tech Football Scholarship Update: Jackets add three players

On Wednesday, the Georgia Tech football program announced three new players to the program and here is how this affects Georgia Tech’s scholarship numbers.

On Wednesday, the Georgia Tech football program announced the additions of defensive end  Anntoneous Clayton, defensive back Myles Sims, and defensive lineman/linebacker Kendall Young.

Clayton and Sims are already enrolled at Georgia Tech and are taking classes according to 247Sports Tech reporter Rod McKenzie. Young, on the other hand, will be joining the Yellow Jackets with the remaining freshman who has yet to enroll.

Those three additions come in the aftermath of the Jackets seeing several departures from the program as well. The Jackets saw the departures of the following players;

Georgia Tech saw several players leave the program;

So that means the Jackets have added three scholarship players while losing four. On the scholarship count, that puts the Jackets at 85 scholarships by our count. A quick breakdown in the following way;
