The Atlantic Coast Conference coaches have announced their postseason awards, and although Florida State redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston walked away with the lion’s share of the accolades, a couple of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets didn’t go unheralded by the coaches, being named to the coaches All-ACC Team

Senior defensive end Jeremiah Attaochu was named to the coaches first team All-ACC defensive unit, and junior offensive guard Shaquille Mason was named to the third team. Running back David Sims was also listed as an honorable mention.

The ACC’s 14 head football coaches voted for an All-ACC football team, as well as Players of the Year, Rookies of the Year and a Coach of the Year award. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own players, with ballots being worth three points for each first-team, two points for second-team and one point for third-team selections.

Both Attaochu and Mason were also named to the All-ACC squad as selected by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA).

Below is the complete list of awards as voted on by the 14 ACC head football coaches:

ACC Player of the Year – Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State
ACC Offensive Player of the Year – Jameis Winston, QB Florida State
ACC Defensive Player of the Year – Aaron Donald, DT, Pitt
ACC Rookie of the Year – Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State
