Clemson, like other athletic departments, has a student who dons a mascot costume at games and other athletic department events. The name given to Clemson’s Tiger?…The Tiger. That’s it. That’s the best they could do. Kind of like giving birth to a son, and when the nurse asks you what you want the child’s name to be, you reply “Baby Boy”.
