#4 – DL KeShun Freeman (Signed)

With Jeremiah Attaochu graduating this year, Coach Johnson is going to need someone to step up to the plate and try to duplicate what the big defensive end was able to do, and Keshun Freeman might be that person.

KeShun is a 3-star Defensive End who played at Callaway High School, which is in Hogansville, GA. Freeman is an athletic player that is quick off of the line when defending against the run and pass. He can take on blockers, move through traffic and make plays in congested areas.

Freeman has good pursuit speed and doesn’t overrun plays, he also is a consistent tackler that wraps up and likes to hit and punish the ball carrier. His ability as a pass rusher is very effective and he has good closing speed on the quarterback.
If Freeman isn’t redshirted this year, there could be plenty of opportunities for him to get in the game to display his talent.
