From the Georgia Tech athletic department, Georgia Tech football sophomores Dennis Andrews and Anthony Autry have been suspended for the first two football games of the 2014 season for violating the Athletic Association’s student-athlete conduct policy.
These suspensions come just weeks after it was announced that wide receiver Darren Waller would also be suspended for the first two games of the season which come against Wofford (Aug. 30) at home, and at Tulane (Sept. 6).
Andrews, a redshirt sophomore A-back, played in all 13 games last season, rushing 12 times for 140 yards, while Autry, a redshirt sophomore wide receiver, sat out last season while rehabbing a knee injury.
Losing these three players against Wofford shouldn’t be a huge issue, but if the Yellow Jackets head into Tulane short-handed before the first snap, it could end up becoming a problem.
