Georgia Tech Football: Spring game time and info

The Georgia Tech football spring game is here, and the Yellow Jackets need you to come out and cheer on the team.
Friday Night on the Flats is going to be a great time for all fans and supporters, and the Georgia Tech athletic department has a great slate of activities planned.

“Friday Night on the Flats,” an evening of fan-friendly festivities surrounding Georgia Tech’s annual spring football game, is set for April 18th at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
Pre-game activities begin at 5 p.m. with Wreckfest, vendors, inflatables, food trucks and a pre-game concert on the Rock 100.5 Stage from Reuben’s Bell, Atlanta’s own southern rock band.
The spring game kicks off at 7 p.m. inside Bobby Dodd Stadium. ESPN3 will broadcast the game with Brandon Gaudin (play-by-play), Roddy Jones (color analysis) and Sean Bedford (sidelines) calling the action. The spring game is typically four quarters with a shortened halftime and a running clock at some point in the second half.
A fireworks show inside the stadium will immediately follow the game. Fans sitting in the north end zone will need to relocate to other sections. Fans will be allowed on the field for the postgame fireworks.
There is no charge for admission to any of the events.
Season ticket holders who have renewed or purchased their 2014 season tickets by April 15 will receive an e-mail voucher to receive concession discounts inside Bobby Dodd Stadium. With the voucher, season ticket holders can purchase $2 hot dogs, Coca-Cola products and kettle corn. Certain restrictions apply and digital vouchers will not be accepted.
FRIDAY NIGHT ON THE FLATS
Georgia Tech’s spring game kicks off Friday at 7 p.m., but come early for Friday Night on the Flats, which begins at 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
