When Marcus Marshall decided to bring his talents to The Flats, he gave Tech fans the potential for a sibling rivalry play out before everyone on the football field. For those who don’t know, Marcus Marshall’s brother Keith wears a red uniform on occasion and plays for a school that is in Athens, GA.
When Marcus said that he was going to be playing for the Yellow Jackets, fans were extremely excited.
Marshall set the Millbrook High single-season rushing record with 2,198 yards and 31 touchdowns.
In the state playoffs the 5-foot-10, 200 pound running back, scored all 12 of his schools postseason TDs.
He is the 2014 Conference Offensive MVP, and was also named All-Conference and All-Metro as a senior.
Marshall ranks third on Millbrook’s rushing list with 3,165 yards, holds the record for career points scored with 186, and rushing yards in a game with 350 yards coming against Jack Britt High in the 2014 playoffs.
Oh by the way, he hits the books hard, as evidenced by his 4.3 GPA.
