B-Back Mikell Lands-Davis – Alexander HS/Douglasville,Ga

Just the fact that Mikell Lands-Davis came to Douglasville, GA after being born in Berkeley, CA tells you that he is destined for greatness. When your first breath in life is Bay Area air, there is just something special about you, trust me I know this.

While inhaling Douglasville air– which is also some pretty good air in its own right– Lands-Davis was a two-year team captain on the football team and lettered three times playing football and safety at Alexander High School.

He also was a four-year starter in basketball and led Mt Vernon High School to the 2011 State Basketball championship.

Lands-Davis was a first-team All-Region selection on defense in 2014 and in 2013 was a first-team all region selection at running back.

As a senior he ran for 607 yards and made 56 tackles. As a junior, Lands-Davis rushed for a Douglas County record 2,374 yards and 28 touchdowns. His sophomore year he gathered 1,952 all-purpose yards and had 970 receiving yards as a freshman.

In all, Mikell Lands-Davis in his high school career ran for 4,286 yards, snagged 1,871 receiving yards, has 1,702 return yards and totaled 7,999 all-pupose yards.

Oh yeah, I forget about the 65 total touchdowns.

Us Bay Area folks are going to say the on field success is because he got that good Bay Area air in his lungs early in life. Somehow Georgia folks are going to disagree.

Either way, everyone can agree that Georgia Tech got a good young B-back to run the dive play.
