S A.J. Gray- Washington County HS/Sandersville,GA

The 6-foot-1 196 pound safety is coming in as the most decorated recruit of the 2015 class.

Gray, who also played quarterback in high school, was named the 2014 Gatorade Football Player of the Year in Georgia and a Parade All-American.

He was also named:

  • American Family Insurance All-USA Offensive Player of the Year
  • Augusta Chronicle, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and Georgia Sports Writers Association as the 2014 Player of the Year for all classifications
  • Two-Time All-Middle Georgia Player of the Year by the Macon Telegraph
  • Two-Time Channel 6 All CSRA Player of the Year
  • First-Team All-State by the Georgia Sports Writers Association and Atlanta Journal Constitution.

In all he was named to nine different all-region or all-state teams and won 17 different “Player of the Year” awards.

In his senior year alone he rushed for 2,358 yards and 39 touchdowns.

A.J. Gray could possibly be one of the best football players to take the field for Georgia Tech when it is all said and done.

Expectations for Gray could be high. It is going to be nice for fans to follow his career.
