David Curry was flat out winning. He helped lead Buford High School to three consecutive state championships and was a letterman those three consecutive seasons.
Overall, Buford High compiled a record of 58-2 in the four years Curry was on the squad.
He was the team captain in his senior year and during his senior year racked up 75 tackles nine pass break-ups, two interceptions, and two punt returns for touchdowns.
Curry played on a Buford High School championship team that also had Ted Roof’s twin sons on it.
