Victor Alexander – Trinity Christian High School/Jacksonville,FL

The recruiting process for Victor Alexander was a good source of drama and suspense going into National Signing Day.

Alexander had his choices narrowed down to UCLA and  Georgia Tech. Rumor has it that he flopped his choice from UCLA to Georgia Tech only to flop it back the next day.

Nobody could blame him for having a little bit of difficulty making the decision between going to the West Coast and staying close to his Jacksonville home by attending Georgia Tech.

Fortunately, the Yellow Jackets won out, and are getting a linebacker that helped guide Trinity Christian to back-to-back Florida 3A state championships.

As a senior, Alexander was named first-team All-First Coast, first-team Class 3A All-State, 2014 All-First Coast Defensive Player of the Year, and Times Union Super 24 in Jacksonville.

The 5-foot-10, 220 pounder, was a tackling machine in high school.

Alexander recorded 74 tackles, 17 of which were for loss, and three sacks in his senior year.

His junior season he racked up 70 tackles with 13 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks for loss, and his sophomore year he totaled 82 tackles, 14 for loss, and two sacks.

He is going to be a great addition to the defense that could see some playing time sooner rather than later.
