No. 6 Running Back Zach Laskey

Zach Laskey gives you that feeling like if he was to go undrafted whatever team that ended up grabbing him as an undrafted free agent would be getting a determined player.

He ran a 4.59 40-yard dash at the Georgia Tech Pro Day and is really an overall good runner.

I truly have a hard time believing that, with today’s NFL climate, when it comes to teams using the running back by committee system,  a team would not be able to find space for Laskey in the backfield.

Laskey runs hard, is pretty sure handed with the ball running through traffic and has a nose for the end zone.

The reason for having him at No.6 is that I get this feeling he is going to be undrafted and overlooked.

I know that there have been reports that the New England Patriots have expressed some interest in Laskey.

But if you let all bloggers and sports writers tell the story at this point, the New England Patriots have expressed interest in every draft eligible player.

Bottom line is that as much as I feel Laskey should be able to break in with a team and be serviceable, I think he might get overlooked.

He should be able to make a team as an undrafted free agent, but he needs to make sure he hooks up with the right team.
