The Coach:

2017 will mark Danny Hall‘s 24th season in Atlanta, 30th season as a college head coach, and his 40th season of college coaching.

Hall has a college head coaching record of 1,169-594-1, and is 961-477-1 at Tech. He has been Georgia Tech’s all-time winningest coach since 2005 when he surpassed Jim Morris with his 505th win. He is also currently ninth among active coaches in wins (1,169) and 10th in career winning percentage (.663).

Hired before the 1994 season, Hall led Georgia Tech to their first College World Series appearance in program history, finishing as the runner up to Oklahoma. He has guided the Jackets back to the CWS twice more since then (2002, 2006).

Hall’s Tech squads have won five ACC tournament titles (2000, 2003, 2005, 2012, 2014) and four ACC regular season championships (2000, 2004, 2005, 2011).

Georgia Tech’s 2017 season will get going on Friday, Feb. 17 at 4 p.m. when the Yellow Jackets host Brigham Young at Russ Chandler Stadium.
