Special Teams

P Ryan Rodwell:

No reports came out on Friday regarding Rowell’s performance during the pro day. Currently, Rodwell is considered the 34th of 63 punters according to NFLDraftScout. During his career on The Flats, Rodwell averaged an even 40-yards per punt over a career total of 136 punts. Last season, Rodwell hit a career high of 65-yards on a punt against Virginia.

K Harrison Butker:

The only Yellow Jacket to be invited to last month’s NFL Combine, Butker was the main attraction for Friday’s pro-day. Butker seemed to have quite the performance, making a long of 58-yards. Despite there only being 32 kicking jobs in the NFL, Butker could potentially see his way onto an NFL roster this fall. The one thing for certain is that he will at least be in a NFL training camp come July.

NFLDraftScout has Butker ranked as the ninth-best kicker in this year’s draft class.
