Center: Ben Lammers (Sr.)

The ultimate x-factor for the 2016-17 Yellow Jackets, Lammers should be one of the most dangerous centers on both sides of the ball in the ACC next season.

A shot blocking machine, Lammers totaled 125 blocks this past season while averaging 14.2 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. After having a rather quiet freshman season, Lammers had a quality sophomore season despite just playing 533 minutes over the course of the season.

Under head coach Josh Pastner, Lammers seemed to excel and explode offensively, pushing his once 3.6 points per game average all the way to the 14.2 points per game.

If Georgia Tech hopes to find itself in the NCAA Tournament, Lammers having a senior season like his junior will be vital. Lammers once again will be the ultimate x-factor for the Yellow Jackets in the 2017-18 season.

With that, the projected 2017-18 lineup for Georgia Tech is complete. Later this week there will be a piece that takes a look at the Yellow Jackets’ bench for next season. After a season that saw limited contributions coming off the bench, will the Jackets’ 2017-18 bench be an improvement?
