9. Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Last season, Wake Forest got the award for the team showing the most improvement. With that being said, expectations for a strong follow-up season will be high. Last season, the defense lead the way for most of the season as the Demon Deacons were able to hold teams off for the offense to put up enough points. That being said, their offense still has plenty of work after having the 101st worst offense last season when it came to offensive efficiency. If their offense can step it up in 2017, the Demon Deacons should be looking at a second-straight bowl appearance.
