12. Syracuse Orange

Like Wake Forest, Syracuse last season was a team that took a few steps forward towards being a better program consistently. Despite going 4-8, the Orange have found a quarterback in Eric Dungey for the next two seasons and have a coach in Dino Babers who can build a program. With that being said, the Orange had one of the worst defenses in the country last season and realistically can’t get much worse. With a hard schedule in 2017, the Orange probably are headed for another losing season but could take several steps forward like last season.
