No. 3 – Shawn Jones (1989-92)

Leading a team to a national title in the modern era is worthy of consideration on any school’s all-time quarterback list. Shawn Jones captained his Yellow Jackets to the top of the college football world in 1990.

Perhaps the most underrated and lesser known great in the history of Georgia Tech football, Jones orchestrated one of the greatest seasons in school history.

The 1991 Citrus Bowl MVP finished his career at Tech as a four-year starter and amassed 8,441 passing yards and 855 rushing yards with 70 total touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets.

Jones still ranks among the top for total offense and passing offense in Georgia Tech football history.
