ACC Player of the Year:

The final ACC media voting prediction was for the ACC Player of the Year. The results are pretty unsurprising but do involve a few interesting inclusions.

  1. QB Lamar Jackson – Louisville – 113 votes
  2. QB Deondre Francois – Florida State – 23 votes
  3. DT Christian Wilkins – Clemson – 11 votes
  4. DE Harold Landry – Boston College – 8 votes
  5. AP Jaylen Samuels – North Carolina State – 7 votes
  6. QB Eric Dungey – Syracuse – 2 votes
  7. LB Shaquille Quarterman – Miami – 1 vote
  8. WR Ahmmon Richard – Miami – 1 vote
  9. QB Daniel Jones – Duke – 1 vote

It’s not shocking that defending Heisman Trohpy winner Lamar Jackson is leading the pack here as he received a strong majority of the votes. If Florida State is going to live up to their potential, Francois will need an ACC Player of the Year worthy season while Christin Wilkins and Harold Landry are two first-round picks next season. It’s hard to see Jackson or Francois not get the award but don’t expect anybody except the top four to win it.
