1. P Pressley Harvin III

While it may seem weird to have a punter as the freshman most likely to make the biggest impact, special teams especially punting is one aspect of the game that can’t go overlooked. With an offense like Georgia Tech’s it’s common to see the offense at times stutter and not make much progress. That’s where having an elite-level talented punter helps.

Time and time again, it’s easy to see college football teams struggle on defense when their opponents have a pretty short distance to the end zone. With Ryan Rowdell gone, it will be Harvin III’s job to flip field position. For a defense like the Jackets that often is the perfect example of “bend but don’t break”, having the ability to “bend” an extra 20 to 30 yards or so is valuable rather than stopping a team from scoring from mid-field.

Bringing in the top kicker in all of the country will help the Yellow Jackets do just that and that’s the reason that Harvin III is the freshman who will most likely have the biggest impact.
