Like Florida State, Miami has had two straight weeks off which means they should have plenty of rest going into next week. The only data points for Miami this season is from their season opener against Bethune-Cookman. It will be interesting to see if they can find chemistry again in week four.

T-5. Georgia Tech: 1-1 (Game against UCF canceled)

    • Last week: T-5
    • Change: None

The Yellow Jackets are coming off an unplanned bye week which is good for them. After playing two games in five days, the Jackets got a much-needed rest. The offense looks like it’s going to be more dangerous than usual this season but there are questions defensively.

    Next up: vs Pittsburgh

    7. Duke: 3-0 (34-20 win over Baylor)

    • Last week: 7
    • Change: None

Duke was given a vote as the ACC Coastal champions by the ACC Media heading into the season which seemed a bit ridiculous. It still is ridiculous but the Blue Devils are 3-0 now and both sides of the ball are clicking. There was no question they could be a dangerous team but the Blue Devils are exceeding expectations early on.

    8. Wake Forest: 3-0 (46-10 win over Utah State)

    • Last week: 9
    • Change: +1

The Demon Deacons are a rising team in the conference and their 3-0 start is impressive when considering their offensive output. While it was against a rather weak non-conference schedule, it’s still rather impressive considering they only averaged 20 points per game in 2016. Their defense remains stout like a season ago and a six win season will be hard but definitely possible.
