2. Wake Forest, Duke won’t be easy outs

Three weeks into the season, Wake Forest and Duke both sit at 3-0 on the season and through the first three weeks, they both have looked greatly improved especially offensively. The Demon Deacons offense was horrendous last year but are averaging 43.6 points per game while allowing just 9 points. Wake Forest will face a tough Appalachian State team next which will be a good test for the rising program.

Like Wake Forest, Duke had its offensive woes last year. Three weeks into the season, they looked like they could be a tough team to beat this season. Through the first three weeks, they’ve averaged 45 points per game while surrendering 14.6. Their week two victory against Northwestern was impressive and they kept a struggling Baylor program at bay. They’ll get their first ACC opponent next week against North Carolina.
