3. Pittsburgh may be among the worst teams in the ACC

Three weeks into the season it’s hard to tell which teams are the best and the worst especially when facing non-conference opponents. That being said, the Pittsburgh Panthers appear to be among the bottom three teams in the ACC and are well on their way to having a potential horrific season.

In week one, they blew a 21-0 lead to Youngstown State before winning 28-21 in overtime. In week two, they lost to Penn State 33-14. Week three, they got embarrassed at home against Oklahoma State 59-21. Now, it was a known that their defense was going to struggle but the offense has looked uninspired and just plain bad through three weeks. Transfer for quarterback Max Browne hasn’t looked spectacular by any measures and the run game is struggling to get on track.

Saturday’s game will be a good measuring stick on how good the Yellow Jackets actually are this season.
