Georgia Tech Football – Former Jacket roundup: 2017 NFL Week Two
Eight former Georgia Tech football players played in week two of the NFL season and here’s how they performed.
S Morgan Burnett – Green Bay Packers
The Packers fell to the Falcons 34-23 but Burnett had five total tackles in his return to Atlanta. Burnett now has ten tackles and one pass deflection through two games. The Packers will hope to rebound next week against the Cincinnati Bengals.

DE Adam Gostis – Denver Broncos:
Gostis continued his strong start to the season this week against the Cowboys collecting five solo tackles. He now has nine total tackles on the season. Gostis and the Broncos travel to Buffalo next week as they look to stay undefeated.
DE Michael Johnson – Cincinnati Bengals:
Johnson left the Bengals week one game with a concussion and was kept out of the Bengals’ week two matchup against the Texans. He’s questionable for the Bengals week three matchup against the Packers.
G Shaq Mason – New England Patriots
Mason had another great game for the Patriots and helped New England rout the New Orleans Saints 36-20. Mason and the Patriots look to get over .500 next Sunday against the Texans.
CB Christopher Milton – Indianapolis Colts:
Milton played 27 snaps for the Colts on Sunday, all coming on special teams. He had one fumble recovery. Milton will look to have an even bigger impact in their week three matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
DE Derrick Morgan – Tennessee Titans
Morgan got his second sack of the season on Sunday against the Jaguars and tacked on two solo tackles and one assisted tackle. He now has two sacks, four solo tackles, and two assisted tackles on the season. The Titans take on the Seahawks in week three.
Former Yellow Jacket of the Week:
WR Demaryius Thomas – Denver Broncos
For the second straight week, Thomas is the former Yellow Jacket of the week. The Broncos top wideout didn’t score any touchdowns but had six receptions for 71-yards. He now has 11 receptions for 138-yards. He’ll look for his first touchdown of the season next week against Buffalo.
