The Seminoles narrowly defeated Duke and improved to 2-3 on the season. That being said, it’s still a far cry from where they hoped to be this season. Their defense is seemingly improving every week but the offense will continue to hold back the Seminoles. A six-loss season isn’t totally out of the realm of possibility. Their only sure win the rest of the season is FCS Delaware State.

The Virginia Cavaliers have come long ways from last season and are just one win away from being bowl eligible. The Cavaliers defense was expected to be strong in 2017 but are achieving well above expectations. They didn’t play fantastic against North Carolina but found a way to win, which is the mark of a good team. Boston College’s defense will be a great test for the Cavaliers.

The Demon Deacons are coming off a bye week after losing two straight. Georgia Tech will be a good test for both the offense and defense. The offense has been struggling in the last two games against Florida State and Clemson while the defense continues to play well. A win over Georgia Tech would go a long way.

Nobody saw The Orange upsetting Clemson last week and the win has bumped them up to 8th in this week’s power rankings. ‘Cuse is a quality team in the ACC and a victim of a brutal schedule. The program is going the right direction under Dino Babers, and the win over Clemson proves just that. Coming off their best game of the season, Miami will be another big test for The Orange.
