Forward #11 Evan Jester

A 6-foot-6, 180-pound forward from Riverdale, Georgia, Jester provides Josh Pastner and his staff a player who has high potential. Not a highly recruited prospect, Jester had two reported college offers from Alcorn State and Morehead State.

One reason for Jester’s lack of scholarship offers as he was a late bloomer of a prospect. During his junior season, Jester averaged just 9.7 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game in 27 games. In his senior season, Jester points per game number jumped up almost 10 points to 19.5 points per game.

At 6-foot-6, Jester saw most of his shots come from close to the basket, with 93% of his shots coming from close and medium ranges, a total of 422 out of 450 shots. That being said, out of those 422 shots, Jester made 61% of his shots. A pretty strong shooting percentage that could be beneficial if he is able to translate his game to the college level.
