ATLANTA, GA – SEPTEMBER 23: Quarterback TaQuon Marshall /

Georgia Tech QB TaQuon Marshall

No shock here that TaQuon Marshall is one of our four players to watch. Simply put, Marshall’s game performance this season has determined how successful the Jacket offense has been this year.  The last few weeks have been a great example.

Against Virginia and Wake Forest, Marshall had the games we’ve come to expect from him this season. Against Clemson, the Tigers were able to contain him much better throughout the game.

It’s no secret that Marshall will be priority number one for the Hokies defense on Saturday. If they are able to contain Marshall like Clemson and Miami were able to do successfully, the Jackets offense will have a hard time getting anything going.

Marshall leads the team with 870 rushing yards through eight games and has 14 touchdowns. While his decision making isn’t always great, he has been a force to reckon with at times this season. Don’t expect the Jackets to put the ball in the air too much on Saturday with the Hokies experienced and dangerous secondary.

Marshall perhaps will be the most important of any player on Saturday especially if the Jacket hope to pull off the upset.
