Kickoff time for Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate

The biggest game of the Yellow Jacket season is just a little less than two weeks away. That’s right, it’s almost time for some Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate, one of the greatest rivalries in all of college football.

Last season, the Jackets pulled off the win in Athens in the final minute on a play by Qua Searcy that Tech fans will never forget.

The 2017 version of Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate will of course take place in the beautiful Bobby Dodd Stadium. But what time will kickoff be? Well, there is yet to be a definite answer but it’s down to two time slots. That being said, the game will be televised on ABC no matter which time slot.

The two time slots the game could be in is the 12:00 pm time slot, which would be a great way to kickoff the day nationally or the 8:00 pm time slot, which would be a fantastic way to end the day nationally. If the game is awarded the 8:00 pm time slot, that should mean that for the second time this season Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be calling the game. The duo called the Yellow Jackets 24-10 loss to Clemson earlier this season.

Either way, the 2017 version of this heated rivalry should be fun and exciting. Could the Yellow Jacket potentially destroy any hopes of the Bulldogs making the College Football Playoff? We’ll have to wait another week and a half to find out.
