Predictions:

Nobody will like this prediction but my gut simply says this game won’t be close. Yes, the Jackets have been competitive in most of their games this year but this will be their toughest challenge arguably this season. The Jackets defense over the past few weeks has given up 40+ points to both Virginia and Duke, both teams are nowhere close offensively to where UGA is entering Saturday.

Recent matchups between the two programs have been extremely close but not this year. The Bulldogs know that there is a lot on the line Saturday and unlike Miami, they’ll probably show up for this game. While the Jackets offense could surpass my 20-point projection, I don’t see how this defense will stop Georgia’s dominant rushing attack. The Jackets will drop their sixth game of the season and most likely not be going to a bowl game for the second time in three seasons.
