With the holiday’s approaching, kids everywhere are writing that wishlists for presents but what would be on Georgia Tech Football’s wishlist?

1. A Defensive line

The first item on Georgia Tech football’s wish list would be a defensive line. Over the last few seasons, the Jackets have had some of the worst offensive lines in the ACC and country.

The Jackets have not had a player with double-digit sacks since 2013 when Jeremiah Attaochu had 12.5 in 2013. Since then, the most sacks the Jackets have had since then is 7.5 by Patrick Gamble in the 2016 season. Other than that, the Jackets defensive lineman have failed to get to the quarterback very little to none.

It doesn’t matter how good of a secondary the Jackets’ have going forward if the defensive line can’t get to the quarterback, the Jackets secondary won’t be able to keep wide receivers locked down. An improved defensive line will also do wonders for the Jackets rush defense.
