Pike County running back C’Borius Flemister signed his letter of intent on Wednesday, officially joining the Georgia Tech Football program.
Running back C’Borius Flemister signed his letter of intent on Wednesday, officially ending his recruitment and making a member of the Georgia Tech football program.
Flemister, a 6-foot-0, 192-pound running back is one of three running back commitments in the class joining Tijai Whatley and Dontae Smith. Flemister is ranked by 247Sports as a two-star running back and as the 140th best running back in the nation.
Flemister is a shifty and agile back with relatively good speed, clocking in with a 4.49 forty-yard dash. He’ll be a great fit in the Jackets backfield and projects well to the A-Back position but could potentially play B-Back if he puts on an additional 20 or so pounds.
Flemister was able to pick seven scholarship offers through his recruitment, including five from FBS schools. Out of his five FBS offers, all five offers came from flexbone based offenses which should tell you a lot about how he will fit in the Yellow Jackets offense. Those offers came from;
- Air Force
- Georgia Southern
- Georgia Tech
- Southern Illinois
Flemister was originally a Georgia Southern commitment but decommitted from the Eagles on his official visit to The Flats two weeks ago. Flemister is not expected to enroll early and will enroll this upcoming summer.
