The Georgia Tech football staff offered the intriguing running back prospect, Ahmad Antoine, this week.

Earlier this week, the Georgia Tech football staff offered unranked running back prospect Ahmad Antoine. A native of New Orleans, Antoine plays his high school ball for Edna Karr High School, who is considered the third-best program in Louisiana according to MaxPreps.

The Jackets were Antoine’s first D1 offer according to his Twitter account with South Alabama following up Tech just a few days later.

Antoine is one of two running backs from Edna Karr being recruited in the 2019 recruiting class. The other is Ronnie Jackson, an unranked prospect who only has two known offers both from FCS programs, that being said both LSU and Mississippi State both have interest in Antoine’s running mate.

The Jackets have also offered Antoine’s teammate, cornerback Devin Bush who is considered a top 20 corner in the country. LSU is the early favorite to land Bush.

That being said Antoine could see his recruitment pick up in the upcoming weeks. With junior days just around the corner, Antoine will most likely be able to get to a few chances to show off his skills in front of coaches and potentially earn more offers. It would not be shocking to see the Louisiana native at the Jackets junior day next month.

The 5-foot-9, 175-pound rising senior has great field vision and speed that allows him to find the holes and break away for long runs. At his size, he’ll make for a fantastic A-Back in the Jackets system.
