Georgia Tech football hot streak on the recruiting trail continued on Wednesday when three-star athlete Jordan Huff committed to the Yellow Jackets.

Since Tuesday, the Georgia Tech football program has not landed not just one, nor two, or three commitments; they’ve landed four commitments as they continue to build their 2019 recruiting class. The most recent commitment belongs to three-star athlete Jordan Huff out of Morgan County.

The former Michigan State commitment was announced Wednesday night via Rivals. He is the 14th commitment of the 2019 recruiting class for the Yellow Jackets and the third commitment of Wednesday alone joining Jamal Camp and Wesley Walker.

Huff’s offer sheet is impressive to say the least as both Louisville and Tennessee were also interested in the three-star prospect. Auburn, Florida, and Georgia all also showed interest in Huff but never ended up extending offers.

247Sports’ composite rankings rank Huff as a top-500 player nationally, the 41st best athlete in the country and the 54th best player in the state of Georgia. He is currently the Jackets highest rated commitment with a rating of .8789 which just squeaks him by cornerback commitment Wesley Walker who owns a .8784 rating.

According to Chad Simmons of Rivals, Huff will be coming to Tech as a cornerback as the Jackets look to continue to build a strong secondary, something we hinted to earlier during Wesley Walker’s commitment post. With elite quarterbacks all around the country and ACC teams stacking up at quarterback, a strong secondary will be vital to Tech’s success in the future. They may have lost all four starters heading into 2018 but the fruits that will bear from the experience gained this upcoming season should pay off greatly for the Jackets down the road.

The Yellow Jackets recruiting class now has 14 commitments and is ranked by 247Sports as the 47th best class in the country and 11th best in the ACC.
