Offensive Line: C

Despite the offense picking up over 500-yards of total offensive and over 400-yards on the ground, the reality of Georgia Tech’s offensive line is that it was inconsistent and didn’t live up to expectations. At least those of Paul Johnson that is who was unhappy with the offensive line’s performance especially in the passing game.

Overall, the offensive line at times had a hard time giving Marshall enough to find his open receiver and giving their backs holes to run through. The Alcorn State Braves defense recorded no sacks on the day but did rack up four tackles for a loss and one quarterback hurry. The offensive line is the heart of Georgia Tech’s offense and if it doesn’t improve going forward, the Jackets will have a tough time getting anything going through the air this season.
