Defensive Line: C+

The new look defense paid off for the Yellow Jackets as a whole yesterday with their shutout victory but like the offense it’s still a work in progress. On Saturday, the Jackets defensive line looked good but still lacked making the big plays that fans will be looking for this season.

As a whole, the defensive line for the Yellow Jackets recorded just two tackles for a loss on the game and failed to record any sacks or turnovers. That being said, senior lineman Antwan Owens did lead the team in tackles for the day with four.

They’ll need the defensive line to have more big impact plays going forward.
