Review

Another solid performance from this group, as they cleaned up the run game well and got a fumble recovery for a touchdown. Their job will be to play the run and provide support when the Quarterback scrambles on passing downs.

One interesting note is that David Curry was the lone linebacker in the defenses first sub package of the day on third down. I am not sure if this will continue moving forward but it is something to look out for. Also, Bruce Jordan-Swilling will likely be a major factor in this rotation once he returns from injury.

Standout Performer

David Curry – He was the obvious choice this week as he tied for the lead in total tackles and had the fumble recovery for a touchdown to make the game 34 – 0. No to mention this was also his first game since 2016.
