Wide Receiver: B

From a blocking standpoint, the wide receivers did a strong job on Saturday against USF. You won’t find many complaints there, other than that, it was a quite day for the receivers.

The wide receivers accounted for just three receptions on the day with Malachi Carter being the notable receiver with a reception as it marked his first career reception. His reception of 13-yards was also the longest of any Tech wide receiver against the Bulls. Jalen Camp and Brad Stewart both had receptions themselves.

The wide receivers won’t always have as quiet of days in terms of receiving yards going forward though when the a-backs do see more touches especially through the air, the wide receivers contributions will take a step back.

Tomorrow, we’ll have our full defensive analysis for Saturday’s 49-38 loss to USF.
