TaQuon Marshall’s Health:

This is probably not too much of a worry entering this weekend but seeing how the senior signal caller went down last weekend against USF and missed about a quarter of action, his health will be of high importance going forward. The injury probably turned out to be nothing too severe but his health will be highly important to watch going forward.

With Benson now out for the season, losing TaQuon Marshall for an extended period of time could be fatal for the Yellow Jackets. While some may believe Tobias Oliver is a better fit for the offense, Marshall’s experience and veteran leadership are two qualities that Oliver just doesn’t have at this point in his career.

If Marshall does go down for the Yellow Jackets again, the offense may be able to survive offensively but having inexperience at both quarterback and b-back in an option offense is putting the entire offense in a tough spot. Marshall may not always make the right decisions or the best passes but his overall abilities is something that no other quarterback on this Tech roster right now can replicate which makes him at this point, the Jackets most irreplaceable player.
