Predictions:

Dylan Callaghan-Croley: Georgia Tech 37 – Pittsburgh 17

Georgia Tech has an opportunity to Saturday to make a statement that last week’s performance defensively was a mirage. On Saturday, I think the defense will have a great chance to do so even if it’s against a rather weak offensive team (in my opinion). The Yellow Jackets on offense will have to replace KirVonte Benson but shouldn’t miss to much of a beat and I think it’s another day of video game like numbers. I’m confident in both the defenses and offenses abilities against the Panthers and as long as the Yellow Jackets special teams takes a step forward this week, I can see the Yellow Jackets potentially cruising to a win.

Player of the Game – JordanMason: 15 carries, 115-yards, 2 TD

Lee Cagle: Georgia Tech 35 – Pittsburgh 20

The Yellow Jackets right the ship on Saturday against the Panthers and finally figure out how to win on the road again. Jackets win big and get ready to take on Clemson next week in a season defining game.

Player of the Game –Bruce Jordan-Swilling: 6+ tackles, forced fumble

Anthony Hartwig: Georgia Tech 34 – Pittsburgh 17

Georgia Tech just has too many playmakers for the Panthers to deal with. Pitt’s offense also looked less than stellar last week.

Player of the Game -Qua Searcy: Qua is looking for redemption after fumbling away a chance to close out USF.  The senior knows what it takes and despite Coach Johnson’s pointed post game comments, I think he trusts Searcy enough to put the ball back in his hands in key situations.

Blake Silvers: Georgia Tech 35 – Pittsburgh 21

By every measure, Georgia Tech should be able to beat Pittsburgh, but after the South Florida game, who knows anymore… Special teams has to just play okay and the defense has to stop doing what they’ve been doing for a long time, and that’s stop giving the game away late. As for the offense, they’ll just need to do their thing. If all that comes together, as it should, the Yellow Jackets will take this one 35-21.

Player of the Game – TaQuon Marshall: Assuming that Marshall is healthy and stays healthy, he could have a field day against the Panthers defense.
