Question 4: Who are a few “under the radar” players that Tech will have to be aware of on Saturday on both sides of the ball?

AB: Offensively, we all know about Kelly Bryant and Trevor Lawrence. The Tigers have some really explosive athletes in Tee Higgins at wide receiver and Travis Etienne at running back. But, the guy that has impressed me the most so far is freshman wide receiver Justyn Ross.

Ross is Higgins’ backup and won’t get a ton of snaps, but he is very efficient with his catches. I think he could finish the day with two catches and one of those go for a touchdown and another go for 20-30 yards. He’s just a great playmaker and that really is showing up as he continues to progress.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Tigers’ defensive line gets all the praise. They are deep and very talented, but a group that doesn’t get near enough respect is the linebackers. Isaiah Simmons, Tre Lamar and Kendall Joseph have all played against that Georgia Tech option attack before. I look for them to have big games from the linebacker spot.
