B-Backs: C-

Jordan Mason: B-

If Clinton Lynch didn’t have the best day of any offensive player, it was b-back Jordan Mason who had an average carry of 7.5 yards on Saturday. The redshirt freshman had four carries on Saturday for 30-yards. The lack of carries for Mason is pretty astounding considering he was the Jackets most consistent offensive threat coming into the game.

Jerry Howard: D

Howard saw an elevated role against the Tigers, picking up a career-high 10 carries. Howard did minimal damage on those 10 carries, picking up just 18 total yards. His longest carry of the day was seven yards, meaning that he had just nine other carries for 11 yards. The Jackets against Bowling Green should go back to the well that has been successful this year and gives Jordan Mason most of the carries.
