Wide Receivers: D-

No receiver made a reception on Saturday for Georgia Tech so we’re not going to break them down individually. Overall, it was a poor performance for the Yellow Jackets wid receivers. During passing plays, there was either miscommunication or struggles to get open, leaving Marshall to get either sacked or to throw the ball away.

In the run blocking, the wide receivers did well early in the game blocking on the outside but as the game went on, they began to get beat consistently, limiting all of the Yellow Jackets gains on the outside. You can’t blame the wide receivers for too much as it was an all-around bad team effort. That being said, improvement will be needed going forward.
