Quick Hit #4: Jordan Mason continues to be Jackets best offensive weapon

Georgia Tech b-back Jordan Mason continues to be the best offensive weapon for the Yellow Jackets. After getting just a handful of carries against Clemson and getting fewer carries than Jordan Howard, Mason had another great day against Bowling Green. Despite jus getting the ball seven times, Mason picked up 61-yards and two touchdowns on the day.

Through the Jackets first five games, Mason now has 45 carries, 365-yards, and three touchdowns. He has averaged at least 7.0-yards per carry in each game this season.

Mason should continue to see a great deal of carries going forward as he’s shown to be a consistent threat in the rushing attack. The Yellow Jackets so far could not have asked for a better replacement for KirVonte Benson.
